We spent a couple of mornings getting up for sunrise and discovered the locals use the beach at this time to hang out, exercise, swim and play volleyball before the sun's even risen and the working day begins! Very cool :)

China Beach
12/12/10 Took some R&R from the tailor saga and hopped on a bus to China Beach for a few days. Thanks to Kip and Emma for recommending Hoa's Place. Very chilled and friendly, and lot's of food :)
We spent a couple of mornings getting up for sunrise and discovered the locals use the beach at this time to hang out, exercise, swim and play volleyball before the sun's even risen and the working day begins! Very cool :)
The fishermen use these hemispherical basket boats to lay their nets. It's amazing to watch them paddle out over the surf standing up with only one ore! This picture was taken just after a huge thunder storm.
