Bangles


18/09/10 Jaipur has a road famous for Bangle shops, Maniharon Rasta.


Traditionally in Rajasthan bangles are made out of Lak, a resin from trees.  Here's a dude melting and jeweling them.

    You're right about the bangles _ I bought one for Liz. I think they sell most things in Jaipur - we bought our rug and other textiles here, and watched them screen printing.
    Did you buy anything??
